On the web court public records suggest that the officer whom stood guard during the scene, Tou Thao, was sued in federal court in 2017 for so-called exorbitant force. In accordance with the lawsuit, Lamar Ferguson stated Thao and their partner stopped him while he ended up being walking to their girlfriend’s home in 2014 for no reason and beat him up.
